Frizbee'25, the annual national level flagship event of IEEE Student Branch of MES College of Engineering Kuttippuram. Frizbee'25 is a celebration of innovation and creativity, bringing together the brightest minds from across the country to showcase their technical and non-technical skills. With a plethora of events, competitions and workshops, this is a one-of-a-kind platform that provides a glimpse into the future of technology. Robotics Workshop
The Robotics Workshop is a hands-on introduction to the fascinating world of robotics, guiding participants through the basics of designing, building, and programming simple robots. Attendees will explore essential concepts such as sensors, actuators, electronic components, and basic coding, all through engaging practical activities. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a solid foundation in robotics and an understanding of how these technologies are shaping the future.
Embedded Systems Workshop
The Embedded Systems Workshop provides a hands-on introduction to the fundamentals of embedded technology, focusing on designing and programming smart electronic devices. Participants will discover how embedded systems power everyday gadgets, explore essential concepts like microcontrollers, sensors, and basic coding, and learn how to interface hardware and software for functional projects. By the end of the workshop, attendees will understand the potential of embedded systems in applications ranging from smart homes to industry, gaining foundational skills for building intelligent, automated solutions in the modern world.
Embedded Systems Workshop
The VFX Workshop with Shihab Valiyakath offers an inspiring introduction to the world of visual effects, guided by an industry expert with over a decade of global experience. Participants will explore how VFX brings imagination to life on screen, gaining insights into professional workflows, creative techniques, and the artistry behind blockbuster visuals. With Shihab’s rich portfolio spanning films like Jagame Thandhiram, Leo, Malaikottai Vaaliban, Thangalaan, Kanguva, Pushpa 2, and Viduthalai Part 2, attendees will discover the real-world applications of VFX in cinema and advertising. By the end of the workshop, learners will have a strong understanding of how technology and creativity combine to craft stunning visuals, inspiring them to pursue their own journey in the field of visual storytelling.
